Connect has now added support for private email addresses, following the success of this feature on IDC Flare Connect. Users can now enjoy enhanced privacy with email addresses ending in @privaterelay.linux.do. The feature, which was well-received by the community, allows for full privacy and traceability, making it a popular choice among users. The system also supports OAuth2 authorization for developers to integrate with IDC Flare login, retrieve user information, and check user levels. Users can apply for Client ID and Client Secret through the system before integration. The OAuth2 endpoints include an authorization URL: https://connect.idcflare.com/oauth2/authorize. The only difference between Connect and IDC Flare Connect is the domain of the private email addresses. The announcement highlights the robust privacy features and encourages users to take advantage of this secure and traceable email system.
